I have been riding again today, even managed a 20 meter circle in trot!
Been riding Erica’s horse Rosie and she is an excellent horse for begginers, she’s 22 and has been there seen it done it and got several T-Shirts. Fantastic fun!
Our poor horse is rather upset by us trying to put back shoes on him, so we are going to have to get the vet out to sedate him to have his final shoe put on. Hopefully once this is done his feet will get less sensitive and he will be better next time. We are also looking at practicing tapping his feet with a hammer every day while holding his leg as the farrier would to try and get him used to it.
We are also looking at getting my bike back on the road next month and selling the car. Provided we can get enough for the car we can then get Char through her driving test and then buy something small and cheap for her to drive, then she can go and do horsey stuff while I go out biking again - hurrah!
Also trying to cut down/give up smoking as well, have moved back to rollups to try and keep costs down, this should give us enough money to save some and do some of the things we have been unable to do for a while.
Well, have bought a new car recently, although it’s not running great at the moment - an Audi A3 with some sort of fuel issue.
Have been working on logon messages using Group Policy at work and getting that working. Also adding additional text to the logon box in Windows XP.
Have also been working hard in WoW to get my Warrior kitted out in all the right stuff! Nearly there, just need two rep enchants and a couple of replacement items.
Went to Fields of the Nephilim on Saturday and Sunday and we got right to the front for the after show.
I got to shake hands with the man himself. Words can’t describe it, awesome.
Off to see Fields of the Nephilim on Saturday AND Sunday, we have got V.I.P tickets which mean there is a VERY slim chance we might even get to meet Carl McCoy and the rest of the guys. We also get V.I.P viewing area and invited to the aftershow party on the Sunday. This means a pretty late night before Monday monring when I am rolling out Office 2007 to the Senior Management Team at work! JOY!
Also, my Nephew is coming with me on Monday to work for his Work Experience Week so I kind of have to be there. This means I am going to be pretty knackered come Monday evening, then I am off over to Cat Sit for my Aunt.
So all in all a pretty packed weekend!
I have had to move my web server to a new machine and so now the blog is lost. I am going to try a recovery and then import into this one, will have to see how it goes.
